August at Underhill

Between us we've had a few visits to Underhill in August but last Friday night was Ivy's first overnight stay (middle of winter). She just loved it and always loves being outside whether it is at Underhill or at home.

Ivy loves pumpkin
Elaine came down and stayed over with me and friends came down for the day on Saturday. We enjoyed lunch together and all kept busy with various chores.

We rearranged the position of the washing up section to clear some space for Geoff to build the new rocket stove. It is in a handy position easily accessed from the table.

We stockpiled the leftover chips of concrete left lying around by the shed builders. This will be used to fill gaps under the new tankstand for the toilet tank.

I spent some time clearing cupboards in the caravan and found all sorts of plastic utensils we'd stockpiled over the years. It is good to be clearing some of the rubbish out and I now have a full red bin and full recycling bin at home. We'll need to do a metal trip to the tip sometime soon as that pile will now fill the trailer.

Thanks to those who come and help so often.
