It has been difficult readjusting to life since my return but one highlight in the first week was a visit by Helen (UK) and her sister Janet (Eire). They were able to share a meal with Geoff and Jen, another with Ellen and the boys (and even met Rod before he left for work). We walked down to Carss Park and had a paddle and even went for a meal at Excelsior in Kogarah.
It was absolutely great to see them both and spend some time together but they had to put up with my jet lag and my cold and there were a few really hot days to contend with too. They are home safely now and hopefully have not come down with the cold.
