Nappori Fabric Town

We woke up this morning to absolutely clear skies and a fantastic view of Mt Fuji. Except for the layer of smog it was as clear as we had seen it. After we returned from breakfast it was even clearer.

Today we took the train to Nappori Fabric Town. We wandered the long street of fabric and clothing shops and meeting others of our group along the way. Robyn, Lynn and I had a coffee in Cafe Bird which was a wonderfully relaxing experience. Fantastic atmosphere after the bussle of some of the shops.
Back by train to buy some late lunch which we ate in the hotel room. Then we packed and took our bags down to weigh them – plenty of room left!

This was followed by a wander through the shopping arcades where I bought a pair of shoes – very soft and comfortable! We met Karen and Margaret so joined them for coffee then headed back to the room to get off our feet for a while.

We all met to go for dinner as per our booking. After sorting out a misunderstanding with the booking we enjoyed our last meal together.
