So now the house is covered in dust from the absolute gutting of the bathroom. The builder is fabulous (Meld Constructions) and has done lots of work at my place in the past.
I was locked out of the front of the house for the dusty part to at least limit the dust in the back half. This sort of worked but I know the cleaners are going to get a shock when they come next.
All the plumbing had to be re-fitted in new positions.
Even the ceiling had to be removed (though it was not good anyway) to rewire a downlight, a fan and a change of light switch position.
In the process of removing the sconce cupboard a hole appeared in the loungeroom wall which was temporarily covered with some cardboard.
The world is ever changing, leading us down new paths, in new directions. We can allow the past to guide us forward but turning back is not an option. While Surrey's loss has left a profound sadness and emptiness in my world I am excited about my new adventures. Follow me here on my journey.
